Home Remedies - Health and Financial Benefits

There are many benefits of home remedies that it's almost hard to know where to begin. Let's begin with the trip to the doctor. You can make an appointment, or you can just go to a walk-in clinic and see a doctor for what might be called an upper respiratory infection, for example.

While you wait to see the good doctor, you will be sitting in a room full of sick people, and your immune system is not at its best form. So while you are waiting to see the doctor for an upper respiratory infection (a cold), you are being exposed to a lot of other contagious diseases.

You finally get in to see the doctor. He takes your blood pressure and your temperature (you could have done both at home). He looks down your throat and in your ears (what did he see that told him anything you didn't already know?). He whips out his prescription pad and writes you a prescription or two.

You go by and pay the doctor's office a sizeable sum. You then take the written prescriptions to the drug store and get them filled.

Along with the prescriptions, you will get a long list of the possible side effects the medications can cause, instructions about what to do if you have a reaction to the drugs, and instructions for taking the medication. Oh, and you will also have a bill which you will pay. Great!

As you leave the drug store, you will see in the vicinity an herbal store.

Inside that store are the very same drugs that you just paid the druggist for at about half the price and in their natural form, which will produce no side effects nor cause any sudden reaction and be at least AS effective as and probably MORE effective than those synthetic derivatives that you just paid and arm and a leg for.

Are there health benefits with herbal remedies? Oh, yes, and financial ones as well.
